That's it, now I think I know why I got problems with women. Having read a lot of stuff on this topic, I've come to realize what I look like in a woman's eyes. Yes, I'm an OK guy, but not more than that and that appears to be insufficient to be successful. I seem to lack SA, almost completely (even though I got a rather notable, but not fat, bottom, it seems to be of the wrong kind).
The eternal question is - now what? Can I start looking attractive quick and painless? Of course, I suspect most will tell me to work out, but I already do, no this isn't quick and painless for sure.
Anything else that could raise one's attractiveness?

if you want to get psychological, women want the alpha male, the leader of the pack. just somehow try to be that! honestly, make a move. it works for me, since women want to be told to do, or are too shy to ask. Pick one and run with it. It works with me.

You should ask a woman that you can trust for advice. Someone who will be straight-up with you, and who is willing to help you out. I don't think this question can be answered by anyone who doesn't know you Not very helpful, I know, sorry.
Bingo - except I'd change "modern codes" to "gentlemen's code".Originally posted by: Chaotic42
Real man:
-Takes responsibility for his actions
-Stands for what he believes in
-Lets everyone know where he stands on issues
-Follows modern codes of chivalry
Just my opinion there.

Being a real man is the willingness to die for whatever you believe in, be it justice, liberty, or the safety of your family; being a real man is not picking fights to look tough, but rather to choose your words and actions so that those you care for are safe; being a real man means taking all the blame for your actions and not a whit less; being a real man means tender care and love for a lifetime; being a real man means jumping out onto the street to save a child with nary a thought for your own self-preservation.
EDIT: The ability to call up Rambo-like behaviour when called for is a big plus!

Why do you need to be sorry? You don't have to be helpful and I don't expect that. I just wanted to chat. Of course, if you like you can smack me (only in this thread, hopefully) for posting out of my bottom not caring of anyone's feelings who would read this. Well
Sounds to me like you're getting discouraged. There's nothing wrong with trying to improve what's on the outside, but it's the inside that counts. When you meet the right gal, she'll see what she's looking for.
There is nothing related to religion in my previous post, but yes, those would some of the ethics of "real men", and I think you're still confused regarding the meaning of a real man.Originally posted by: Booster

But you're talking of moral and religious qualities. I possess some of those, but it doesn't help me. I feel I'm about to fail completely in this department and quite frankly, I'm scared.

Damn, that never happened to me. At this rate when I meet the right person I'll be 80 or so.

So, to finish this, I'll add that it's the feeling that something went horribly wrong that makes me think of it. When I'm at work I sit at the table and sometimes, closer to the end of the day, I think that I just can't take it any more. I want to break out and change my life, to find a woman and all. But I can't do it no matter how hard I try. It seemed possible, but when I knock on those doors they're all closed.
Well, I guess enough with this thread. It's turning into something completely different.
Maybe you're looking for companionship instead.Originally posted by: Booster
