Is it possible to be allergic to caffeine?

Whenever I drink a cup of coffee or drink alot of coke, I feel really nauseous.

Basically, anything that has caffeine in it and in a large dose really upsets my stomach.

Anyone else have this problem?

I think it's possible to be allergic to just about anything. I saw on Montel a while back there was a girl that was allergic to WATER.

how much caffeine is there in a regular cup of coffee as opposed to a coke or something? Coke has never made me take a huge dump, so maybe it's something else in it, or just when I get a LOT of caffeine. But when I took caffeine pills I didn't get those effects either

Do you take your coffee black? With coke it might be the high sugar cotent.

you are hypersensitive. basically oding on caffine = nausea and jitters and wonderful sh*t. which is why its safe... u try to do more then u should.. and u stop pretty quick🙂 unlike other drugs where u just take ever bigger doses to get that high. caffine good effects peaks rather early. u hit that limit way toofast i guess.

no I pour loads of sugar into my coffee.

One cup of coffee is enough to make me nauseous, twitchy and shakey. I'd say about 3 cans of coke would do the same.
