Is it possible to add a dvi connector to an Nvidia reference Geforce 3?

hi all! i have an elsa gladiac gf3 that's pretty much an nvidia reference board. curious, would it be possible to add the dvi connector (and whatever surface mount parts) are necessary to enable dvi functions? The board is based on nvidia reference as are so many other boards that do have dvi. Not sure if something would need to be enabled in the bios, either, but definitely interesting. Not really practical, i know, but just a thought. Thanks.

Hmm, good question.
My visiontek geforce 3 Ti200 has the spot to solder what would appear to be the connectors for a DVI connector, it even has the solder on the back of the card for the connector, just no connector or cutout on the back-plate.

Hmm, wonder if molex has any free sample surface mount DVI connectors?:D

yeah, same as my card. it looks as though there are a few chips missing from the back as well, but since I don't have another reference card to compare, i don't know if those spots are used for sure or not. If it's just a matter of a few chips and the dvi connector it probably would be quite doable!
