Is it possible to access files in my other PC's using WiFi?

I have several PC's networked using a Linksys 802.11b/g 4-port router. I can network my wired PC's rather easily using the network wizard in Windows XP. For some reason, when I run the wizard on my laptops, it doesn't let me choose the WiFi cards in order to network them to my wired PC's. It just shows the other network adapters that are usually disconnected, since I don't use them much. Is it possible to actually network my laptops to my other PC's using their WiFi network adapters? If so, how can I do this? Thanks for your help.

It should not be a problem Wireless is a replacement to Wire, otherwise it same rules and settings as Wired network.

If your OS does not recognizing the "WIFI" card you might have an Hardware problem.

Otherwise the following is the way to configure the Wireless.

Link to: Wireless - Basic Configuration.

Thank you for your help. Both wireless cards are working perfectly and have excellent signals. What is happening is that I can currently only use my two laptops to connect to the Internet and not to the other PC's. I would like to share files between them and the other PC's on the network.

Are they all in the same workgroup and running the same networking protocols?

Do your desktops have NetBUI installed on them, but the laptops don't? It so, you could install NetBUI on the laptops to gain access to the desktops and vice versa.

I'm sharing files flawlessly between two hardwired machines and 3 wireless machines. I'm using NetBUI for file and printsharing only (I have disabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP) in order to keep my things a little more secure.

I had this problem but it was because of my firewall on the wired computers... it was not set up to allow other computers access to the same workgroup.
