Is it possible that someone shares the same exact IP as you do?

Sounds about right to me. The only difference between ips and fingerprints, is that one person can have multiple by masking their ips with different programs.

key word: PUBLIC.

there are only unique PUBLIC IPs so that they can effectively be used to create a useable topological map so that data can flow where it needs to go and get there.

OF course, private IPs are another matter.

keep in mind that it is about 6am so most of what I spout at this hour is BS< but the gist of it is true🙂
