The other dude discussed was also kind of bad too I think. But since Natalie has grown boobs and gotten nice and curvey, I am more and more tending to not mind her bad acting. Would be a shame to have to watch her preggers for too much of the next movie. Sniff.

Perhaps a brain and/or limbic system transplant is in order?

natalie portman was definatly the problem in that movie along with the dialouge

i mean just watch the beginning scene when her ship blows up and her double is killed, it looks so fake i mean she looks as if she doesnt care at all and is just reading her liones off a page in her head, it was so horrible, right then i had doubt about the movie. the fight scenes did make it better but lucas better take it up a notch or two to get the third movie right

I don't think that Natalie Portman is the best actor in the world.. but I don't think she's the worst actors in Episode II either. Hands down, it's Hayden Christensen (sp?). Have you ever thought that Natalie was just playing into the role of Amidala? She's the leader of a planet, so showing emotions may be perceived as weakness in her leadership? As for Christensen's acting.. ermm, or the lack of it. It's like he's reading straight out of the script. Supposedly, Anakin's character should show a lot of charisma. I am sorry, but he has no charisma playing the role or in real life. They should've cast someone who has charisma or at least can act as if he has it. I can't really picture that whinning little twerp turning into the almighty Darth Vader. <brrrr> *mental picture of a whiny Darth Vader* It gives me the chill.. in all the wrong ways.
