of course there has to be a mental connection. otherwise i wouldn't talk to them. most of my friends are girls. some are TOTALLY platonic, and other are friends with benefits. the FWBs ARE and WILL CONTINUE to my my friends, but we're very close. nothing wrong with having fun every once in a while, especially when both parties know that there's no obligations. go out, hang out, have dinner, etc. and every once in a while :Q.
