I have an HP Deskjet 932c at home and I plan on buying a Canon i850 for my dorm room. I'm going to be transporting my laptop to both home and my dorm alot...so is it okay to have 2 printer drivers installed or are they going to conflict?

1 more question...what about having 2 printers plugged in at the same time (both via USB). It should be fine too, right?

You will be fine. Just remember to pick the correct printer depending on where you are. I have a laptop that I take from work to home. I have 3 work printers installed and 2 home printers installed.

Running 3 Printers (Canon, Samsung, Alps)here (sometimes 4) plus 2 virtuals with no problems...it'll work.

Edit= Sometimes USB Hubs are not friendly for Printers and Scanners

Yes, no problem in doing that. The only situation where you'd have to be careful is when you keep changing legacy, non-plug-and-play printers on the same physical port.
With PnP-enabled printers and particularly USB printers (which are PnP inherently), you can't do wrong.
All you need to do is pick an actually connected printer when printing something.

At the store, you should see how many drivers the epson rep has on his laptop...one for every epson printer.
