Is it okay to downgrade a bios?

Is it okay to downgrade a bios? Or will that cause corruption on the board? Im looking to downgrading my MSI neo2 Plat to ver1.20 because of the VCore options.

I usually set everything back to default in the bios and then flash back.....shouldn't be a problem I did it my abit IC7 a few times casue beta bioses were flaky....

it's no worse than upgrading the bios. I've done it several times when a newer version caused me problems.
