is it okay for a fiancee to have had an engagement from a previous relationship?

had she actually gotten married and then divorced, it would have been fine. like a reset button.
as it stands, she got engaged and then nothing happened. what's the word for ending the engagement? disengaged? nope, doesn't exist. she's stuck in engagement limbo. worse than the friend's zone.

she gave the ring back and broke up with him 1 and a half yrs ago. she's with the new bf now.

No different than a break up only more time and feelings [should have gone] into it.

If she is not movnig on then that is the issue.

I think its legal to be engaged to more than one person at the same time too. You're not technically married.
