I'm Chinese and I usually tip 15-18%... unless it's really bad service then NO TIP FOR YOU.

You usually dont tip much at an Asian restaurant. (Not including sushi etc) Typically at Pho restaurants you tip whatever change was left from the bill. Its always my white/Mexican friends who feel like they should tip 5+ at a Viet place.

I tip less at buffets, but since I usually overtip in the first place, it's still in the ~15% range.

If it's a sit-down restaurant with a menu, I'll tip the usual (for me) 20% or so, since regardless of their races, they live here and pay the same for gas as I do.

How "Chinese" is a restaurant is when the ingredients are locally grown, the recipes originated in California (orange chicken is NOT chinese food), the server is Caucasian, the hostess Vietnamese, and the cook Mexican?

Oh well, it tastes good, and ya gotta have a job. Bottoms up!

My tipping depends on how cute the waitress is and how hard she worked. Not cute or male = 15% max. For a cute, hard-working waitress, I've tipped 30%+ before. Bugs the shit out of my wife, though. :D
