It will make the burns worse and you won't continue tanning. The burns will go away in 3-4 days. Get a tanning membership.

What is this "sun burn" You speak of?

<-black

haha.

Question, and please excuse my ignorance if my question is ignorant.

Since darker colors absorb more light, does your body get warmer in a shorter amount of time than those who are Caucasian?

Meh, your problem is bigger.. or should I say smaller, than our problem with tanning.

We have tanning beds. You have pills, pumps and surgery. 😛

I refuse to pay to get tan 😀

As a borderline tool, I refuse to take the last step to crossing the line and becoming a full blown tool/frat boy

Another quick ?

Does sunburn end up being tanner skin when its healed or does it heal back to the original color. I always assumed it ended up tanner but I wasn't sure if this was actually an old wives' tale like fat turning into muscle.

Depends on the burn. If you peel you will end up lighter. If you don't it will tan but not nearly as well as gradually building the tan. Man I didn't realize I was a tool for going to the tanning salon. I can say if I wasn't married it would be a great place to meet women.

Supposedly EACH TIME you get sunburned, it measurably increases your risk of skin cancer. Sun/skin damage is cumulative over your life, don't f*ck around.

I try not to stay out during the day at all, instead I play at night. 😛

My first thought about peeling would be that as a defense mechanism your body would make the skin tan simply so it wouldnt get burned and have to peel again

I guess I was wrong

I'm already burned in a couple locations but want to keep tanning outside over the next few days. Would it make the burns a lot worse or would it turn out ok, I know I need to use stronger sunblock now heh

You are stupid. You would be really stupid to lay out in the sun and expose burned skin to more burning...

If I plan on spending more than say 15 minutes out in the mid day sun I'm wearing spf 45. Every now and then I fvck up and forget and get burned but that usually serves as a good reminder to wear sunscreen.

No, the skin dies and falls off...it's called peeling.
