wait, you're intending to pass your mom off as your girlfriend?

I was going to introduce her as my out of towns girlfriend and then a few days later let everyone know we have broken apart. There are some attractive females at my work that I don't want to ruin my chances with. Would this be going beyond all borders?
please please please go with this course of action.
and keep us updated.

Who will honestly care if you go with your Mom? Why would it be interested in being implicated in a love triangle with your mom?

That's really fvcked up. If she would actually go for that, I'd think you both are fvcked up.

Do it, make sure you get her a corsage for sure. I think you should embellish your story a bit more though, instead of saying she's your out of town girl say that she just got out of jail. Then make out with her in front of everyone. That will definitely create some love triangles.

This thread, and the OP, are wrong on so many different levels.

We must have updates or BAN!

This is one of the most amusing posts I've read in a long time.
There are just a few questions I can think of...
Why do you HAVE to have a date with you? Like 75% of the people at work are singles, and never had a problem with going to meetings/company dinners, or whatever.
Why do you think love affairs at work are a good thing, to just about everyone I know, it's potential bad news.
How on earth can you even ask if this is screwed up?

I have asked my Mom to the partys and she said she would go as long as I mow the lawns first. I have updated the posts with the pics on the assurances that it will be met in good tastes.

Dude, no disrespect meant by this towards your mother but...

She's an older woman man. Noticably older. As in she looks at least a good 20 years older than you. You expect hot chicks in your company to dig you after going out with a (and this is relatively, no disrespect meant) less attractive woman? And you expect your friends to be jealous?

If you take your mother, introduce her as such. Assuming that your grand plan worked for making the other ladies jealous of you and you mom, and you hit it off well with said co-worker lady. What then? You certainly can't take her home to meet mom/ex-girlfriend. Lies will get you no where with a decent girl.

the picture of your mom is useless since you can't really see her. The fact that you apparently are still considering this, though, is pretty f*%$ed up....
