i tried to make friend with a girl and i end up getting blocked.... she said, "u know its not good to IM strangers.." MAN~ AM I TOO LAME OR WUT?.... ahhh.. what should i do??...

Judging from the closed-minded attitudes and the obvious social ineptitude of the majority of ATOT's population as referenced by the sheer proliferation of YAGTs and their ilk, I made the generalization that these people who insist on taking "cheap shots" at others for their post count are acne-ridden, antisocial computer geeks. LOL. Actually, the best example is a 25-year-old German girl whose name is Candy "Longlegs." Not bad, eh?

Although we don't chat on AIM too much these days, we still talk through e-mail, and I've been over to visit her a few times. But, she IMed out of the blue one day and we totally hit it off. That summer, we spent like 5 hours a day talking.

It doesn't really take much to become a lifer. Probably a good 6-8 hours a day on the forum would get you up there in 4 years or less.

People who "have a life" don't spend their time making friends online. They go OUTSIDE and make friends in REAL LIFE.
You can have whatever kinds of relationships with you want with people you've never met, but e-friends will ALWAYS != real friends.

And if you REALLY want to start something about my post count, go right ahead. Oh noes, I take a few minutes out of my work days to read and post at ATOT.

I would have to say he does a premptive attack, because he DOES have a life. I believe he has a girlfriend, lots of friends, a nice job, and a college degree... soo...

So???? I'm sure a lot of the guys who post YAGTs have lives outside of ATOT. They may be looking for advice in the wrong places, but at least they're trying to get girlfriends. Sheesh.
