I have two 1GB DIMMs of this RAM with the metal heat spreader. They feel a little bit hot to touch when running? Does this mean they are running too hot? Or is this normal? All stress tests pass without errors. I am currently running the RAM at 536MHz with the DIMM voltage set at 2.6V.

if they are hot right after the stress tests then its fine but if they are always to hot to touch then i might be a little concerned. You could always try to get fan blowing on them.

My OCZ plat rev2 tcc5 sticks with the heat spreaders running ~250mhz used to hit 55c or so on a temp probe.

Your vdimm is fine and you're not errorring so I'd say your good to go.

My sticks are sort of hot to touch even when not under full load. When under full load, they are only slightly, if any hotter.

What is the part number of your ram? What system are you running them in?

I always recommend some type of fan over ram, it just makes good sense :)
