The heat we're having right now is dry. Not as dry as the heatwave a while back, but it's still dry compared to the East.

I agree, it's very rarely "muggy" in Portland. I thought I knew what "muggy" was until I lived in VA for a summer. 🙁 And I'm sure there are places even more humid than that.

 

77 degrees with 40% humidity here. It's pretty much a perfect day.
