Is it me or does the forum take forever to load now?

Waiting for dynamic.anandtech.com..." Thats exactly what stops me .

When loading my forums too: It stretches popular posts across the screen until my posts load on the right side 7 seconds later.
 
it was so bad i could almost not use the forums, until i added the following line to my hosts file

127.0.0.1 dynamic.anandtech.com
 
Lately, I have been noticing that a lot of loads pause after the Anandtech title bar loads up. It's obviously waiting for something, but what it is I'm not sure (Opera doesn't say anything in the status bar).

Also, the you-have-encountered-an-error,-wanna-talk-to-webmaster? page comes up rather frequently now, whereas in the past it was a genuine rarity.
 
Maybe it's like a few years ago where they throttled the speed of the forums to encourage people to subscribe to the "premium" Anandtech forums.

even back then it wasn't this bad for me. I'm gonna try that adblock trick.
