Yea because only Americans eat potatoes and corn, right? Potatoes are actually from Spain.

You mean South America? Both corn and potatoes originated in the western hemisphere.
 
Corn and potatoes are starchy carbs, and should be eaten with moderation.

I wouldn't consider either to be a vegetable or particularly healthy.

And yes, Potatoes originated in Peru.

Potato is a tuber.

Tomato is a fruit.

And corn is a grain.

no it isnt. your confusing it. in the 18th century and before that they used to call grain(wheat, etc) corn...
