Is it me or are many websites having performance issues?

I haven't been able to check Yahoo mail all day.
eBay is slow as all get out getting to 'my eBay' page.
mail.com is slow as heck, too.

But, other sites fly, like here...or excite.com

Argh!

My intArweb is broke!

That's b/c too many people dl prOn over K-lite, IMVHO. Like they got nothing better to do. These are thousands of gigabytes of data every second, and this slows the whole Internet down.

Seems about average. Loaded rather quickly.

I know my DSL is a bit slower than my cable modem was but this is nuts.

Their main sites load instantly for me...it's the personalized pages (my.yahoo.com and the 'my ebay' link) that suck.

Hmmm, well I just fixed my works problems... it was another SQL worm. It brought down our whole switched network with collisions. I unplugged the affected server and all was well again. I wonder if this worm is going to be as big as the last.

I'd guess this could be a reason for the general slowness of the intarWeb.

<------ has installed all the newest patches and service packs. I'm going to call a friend at Microsoft on Monday to see what we can do about our SQL 2k server.
