If I was in your position where I have no job and all the free time in the world, I'd at least be trying to find a hobby that could turn into income. You want to work construction, well build stuff as a hobby and get good at it. If you rather not work on a construction site then do stuff that is more alone, like build cabinets or something. Lot of contracting jobs don't require any sort of license either so you could just get into those. Maybe get really good at installing doors or drywall plastering. Most of those jobs you'll be working alone. Do something instead of just being at home all day thinking about what you want to do without doing it.
