As in with guns like in those old western movies?

A teacher asked me this once....never gave an answer though.

That was a couple years ago in high school, and he's retired now anyway... It just popped into my head a couple minutes ago...

its self defense...if you shoot 2nd. So only if he shoots first and misses :) but if he shoots first and misses, why even shoot. He just did something illegal and is going to jail anyways. So there's no reason to defend yourself, because the justice system will defend you! that means there is no reason to shoot back, you'd be murdering him, and you'd go to jail.

There is no answer to this question.

Yes, it is perfectly legal to shoot each other to the death, as long as you both consent.
