Ok I went from a set of Altec ACS56's to a set of Logitech Z560's. Well I am sure the Logitechs are louder which they are but I can't say they are by a whole lot. I might have to do a side by side comparison to really see the difference. Then again it might be my crummy c-edia 4.1 sound card which only cost $12. Maybe by buying a new SC,Philips AE or Audigy will bring them to life more? Also I didnt turn the Logitechs up all the way just about 90% as I didnt want to take a chance on blowing them. BTW I am having to use M3D before my back speakers will work since my sound card sucks which could be part of the problem. My Altecs would do stereo to all 4 speakers without having a 4.1 sound card.
Lets just say in a few reviews I read they said the Logitechs got loud enough to hurt your ears. To me they don't get quite that loud 😀.
