Is it just me or...

Philippine Mango

Yup, truthfully every person I have ever spoken to who speaks like that turns out to be under the age of 13. Though when I was even 11 I never spoke that way so I am assuming its for nerd wannabees?

WTF are you trying to say Philippine Mango? 😛

but it seems like its more so a phenomenon now then it was a way to screw with authority... I dont know I mean I have never had the urge to ever speak that way, my sister (17) has finally "caught on" and thinks its cool... I say it's "retard speak" meaning that its stupid to acutally speak that way and then she corrects me and says, "No it's 1337 speak"....

:camera:'s of your sister please Philippine Mango! 😛

I just call it geek slang....

and I personally can't stand it...it shows a lack of professionalism.

If I read something someone is writing to me in "geek slang" I ask them to please type proper english.

I have trouble reading geek slang anyways.

I think it originally started with script kiddies wanting to "look cool". They ended up just looking like idiots.

I just posted in another post on cheesy poofs and she kinda looks like that, though I have 3 sisters and the one that looks like that isn't half as ignorant as the one I'm talking about.
