Is it just me or is Youtube slower than ever?

Bump this thread. Youtube is pretty much unusable for me. I have a 14/1 connection according to speedtest.net.

No matter what I stream, 240p, 360p, 720p, 1080p, it stutters and stops.

Not here I just watched 360p, 720p, and 1080p videos fine.

YT should change the max resolution to 720 or 480 until they can get their shit together. That's generally how rationing is supposed to work. We have A amount of bandwidth and B amount of users, so limit stuff to A/B and everything works.

At work Speedtest comes up 10mb, at home which is a few blocks away it's 15. I know they're different providers but both go the same speed on YT. AT work I get a lot of buffering, at home on the same videos there's only a few seconds of buffering. I don't remember the last time at home where a 1080p video didn't start almost instantly. It's definitely heavily ISP dependent. I watch hundreds of 1080p videos a month at home with zero problems. At work I couldn't watch one probably.

This makes like the 6th fucking thread on YouTube. It's not slow for me and I use Comcast!

There are a few things I don't like about YouTube. One is the fact you have to enter your fucking full E-mail address instead of your god damn user name on YouTube. Then they totally fucked your channel up. My favorites don't show up for people since it considered "private." And if I could change it I don't even know where to begin. Then I can't upload a video larger than 10 minutes because they want my fucking cell phone number. Well I don't have a cell phone. I had a Trac phone and never kept up with the minutes.

So I am also wondering this question. Videos are taking forever to load and some don't even load at all. They cut out at half-way thru and don't restart. Maybe too much traffic?
