is it just me or does midnight club II suck on PC

I just got the demo from PC Gamer today. Seems like it could get repetitive. The nitrous is pretty funny though, I have to say that makes the game a little better but I doubt I'd ever buy it.
 
It was fun for a while when I played with my friends, but I did loose interest after a short while. But the PC version was sooooomuch better then the PS2 version I played (probably because I was using a racing wheel).

I like how the cars are easily unlocked with codes in multiplayer. hehe 😀
 
i've only played it on the pc, and i kinda liked it...then again, for the most part, the only games i DO play are arcade racers/racing sims...
 
The first few missions were ok. After LA though and it just gets ridiculous... you can pull of a huuuuge lead and the stupid handicap just makes them faster and faster. :|
 
Does the Demo have anything above freaking 800x600?? I had the demo and sorta liked it besides the low resolution I was stuck at. Is there a way to change it?
 
I cried when I played this game... I have Midnight Club 1 on the Ps2 and thought this one HAD to be better. A friend has it on his computer so I gave it a shot. Made it to the second level before I was ready to throw the computer against a brick wall.

Yes you need to go the options and select video options or something IIRC
 
Wasn't the greatest, but wasn't the worst. The graphics detail could have used some improvement. Only tried the demo of the game. Did get boring after a while.

that one wont be coming for a while though since 3DO went down and Namco is in the process of buying it so development is halted.

This game sucks SO bad. Was it a port? Can you even change display options? Does not seem like it!!! I do have one pro though and that is the driving is very arcadish. It makes it really fun when it doesn't involved silly things like physics in the game.
