Is it just me or does JK2 suck?

So....do I have this right?

It's either..you LOVE the game, or you think it blows sour frog ass?

I think I'll love it. :D

I'm just giving my opinion. I am not trying to steer anyone from buying the game. If I had enjoyed it more, I would have played longer than 10 minutes. The multiplayer is mediocre. It just doesn't bring anything new to the table.

If you played for 10 minutes, you didn't get the light saber or any of the force powers. That's when the game becomes cool.

I think the game is a little slow until you get the lightsaber and some jedi power (slamming around a room full of enemies with Force Push and then cutting them down where they lay rules), but the first one was as well, so don't judge it on that. But man, once you get the saber, it really speeds up. (On a side note, the saber burning the walls as you pass is just cool) Some of the levels are more than just puzzles and you really have to THINK to get further. I've had to stop playing and go back later before I figured some stuff out. Really draws you in that way.

Once you get to the duels with other jedis, it really rocks. I giggled like a little school girl during my first two Jedi fights (only two I've seen so far). The slow-mo at the end adds a nice touch. I reloaded just to fight them again. :D

I'm pretty far in the game. I won't say exactly where cause I don't want to ruin it for anyone. Though, not knowing how long the game is, I suppose I don't really know if I'm far, do I? ;)

Oh, and while I DID get a warez copy, I also have my legit copy ordered and on the way. I just wanted it NOW. :D

I would suggest that anyone who doesn't like the early game give it some time. Obviously, it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea; NO game appeals to everyone. But for those who like it from the get-go, you'll REALLY like it later on.

i thought jedi knight started off every slow as well...and everyone eventually loved that game, so maybe that's just the case here
