Is it just me or are bans and thread locks getting more common?

I have had a lot of threads I have opened lately in OT and saw a pretty good debate going only to reply and have it be locked between the time I entered, read and wanted to post....

plus it seems there are a couple of narrow tightropes here lately that = instant ban, and some wide 'platforms' that are rather offensive but no bans.

Has there been a changing of the guard? I mean we even have popups (amd ad, that previously would have been killed in 24 hours).

There has not been a changing of the guard, you are just seeing an increase in locks and banning because there has been a decrease in the general IQ level lately; as well as a distinct fall in the maturity level of the people posting here.

We mods are about to have one of our annual "See who gets banned" parties. We sit around drink beer, and thow darts at a projection screen with all the members names on it who seemed to have ticked us off in one way or another.

Now, you gotta ask yourself one question, do you feel lucky....punk, well do ya?!?! Your name could be on that list.

I'm sure that all the asinine threads certainly have something to do with along with the bafoons posting them.

Every thread I've ever started had social merit out the ass.

Except for that "folding laundry" one.

I am not trying to create a locked thread...but I have noticed the bans and locks more lately....it could be since I am situated now in my own apartment I am on ATOT more or something....I think my usage is the same, but we all know how that goes.

I hope this doesn't get locked as I don't see any problem with it, of course, if a bunch of idiots come into the thread with banned expressions and what not it will.

I haven't really notice any more banning or locking than usual. Although, I don't notice much in the first place, I'm not very observent.

And not a very good one....I give it a 6.5 on the mod quote scale.

You think we write messages in threads just for entertainment value? While it may be a 6.5 on your scale, you just got moved a little closer to the top of the chart we will be using for our "Dart Party" this year.
