is it illegal to scalp tickets in CA?

Totally legal UNLESS YOU LIVE IN CA.

In other words, I can scalp CA tickets from my home in NC on eBay, no problem.

BUT I can't sell NC tickets for over face, legally..knowwhattimean?

you can sell it for whatever price you want, just not on the venue grounds if its in excess of face value.

this would mean it's legal to sell it elsewhere, right? so craigslist is legit?

Yeah Craiglist is legal, I guess....like I said I know in NC we can't sell THROUGH ANY MEANS over face to an NC event.

its illegal period in michigan. 4 dozen people got some fines and the tickets confiscated during the all-star game...

I live in CA.

I sold Modest Mouse tickets on ebay, Siebel Open tickets on ebay.... uhh yea. It's legit. Trust me. I mean when you walk to Oakland Colliseum after taking BART there are like 500 black guys selling you tickets along the way. Don't you think they would get shut down already?
