Is it hot where you are?

My GOD is it hot in here in Houston, 93F feels like 101. I just went to Walmart, it is super hot outside. Even my AC isn't working in this heat.

i'm in the katy ghetto over in the west side. was just outside spraypainting a computer, damn it was hot. i was sweating like a migrant farmer

It's 91.4F here in Eastern Ontario. Thank goodness for air conditioners, otherwise I'd be melting and my computer would be crashing every few minutes.

I'm surprised that it isn't much hotter in Houston considering it's a few thousand miles south of here.

60 and raining.

what a great way to begin life after high school...rains on graduation and the next 2 days!!

could this be an omen of what is to come for my class?

I hear you. Of course, I've only gone out today to get some groceries at Kroger...

It's only 100° in Las Vegas today, it's usually about TEN degrees hotter. It's hideous normally, but it's pretty decent this week 🙂

hell yeah it is hot, fvckin humid 33ºC (306K) tomorrow, and my office has been 27ºC (300K) in the morning, rising to 31-33ºC in the afternoon - unbearable - even at night it is above 20ºC (293K).

and summer just started - next one to tell me global warming is BS gets a hit to the head...

edit: sry too lazy to convert to your weird temp. scale

ElFenix, I'm right there with ya. I planned on mowing the lawn today, but I decided I didn't want to bake under this sun. May try it later tonight, but the lawn (about an acre and a half) takes a couple of hours to do, so I can't wait too long. What part of Katy do you live in? Ghetto, I'm assuming "The Heart of Katy"?

It's going to be in the high 80's here tomorrow, with the temp (and humidity) rising to 94 and a heat index of well over 100 by the end of the week.

Good thing I have an air conditioner for sale! 😎

I know! :Q

What am I going to do for ice cubes once all the snow melts? I figured you'd comment on my l33t Ferengi skills by holding off on selling my air conditioner until the first heat wave hit. I'm going to let the plebes roast in the heat for a couple of days and then list the unit in the paper at slightly below MSRP. *evil grin*

This is the coolest summer I can *ever* remember!

Hottest it's been so far (in June) is only 83 and the low has been 51, twice. It was fairly wet the first part of the month but the rain has let up the last week or so and the last two days have been downright gorgeous! Temp about 80 and low humidity.

After my trip last week to Ft. Myers I felt as if I could move down here but the weather here has been so nice and cool (but, I know, way off average of a typical Ohio Valley sticky summer)
