A is commonly only used in telecom as phone only and as the "Standard" standard in europe. B is used just about anywhere I've seen - not that it matters. 😀

The crimper I had used belongs to my former employer.
 
It is easy as long as you remember the color code. I used both the cheap and expensive crimpers and they both were about the same (expensive one was a bit better).

PS. A cable tester is a nice thing to have. You don't want to pull and crimp the cable and set it up then find out the cable is no good...LOL.
