I think I have dropped by dirtbike 1,000 times.

I'm too much of a bitch to ride street here in Socal...have had too many friends go down, and lost one of them...you Socal street riders have balls.

if you're not dropping a dirt bike every once in a while you're not doing it right. =D those things are meant for abuse.

i was curious about the light bike vs heavy bike thing....does tire size matter? is it easier to balance a bike with a fatty rear tire? or more front end rake?

seems to me that your sportbikes, while compartively light, might be the hardest to balance. but that's just conjecture since i don't ride bikes. merely curious.
