Is it better to be simple minded or complex?

Wondering cause apparently people have issues on how simple-minded I am or how I keep my answer short and clear.

I think you're talking about two different things. If you are succinct, that's a good thing. On the other hand there are people like a woman I work with who can't answer a simple yes/no question without talking for 5 minutes.

Someone who's simple minded I would consider to have low intelligence.

Well it depends how you interpreted the question. So oh well.

Depends on the situation. In the heat of combat, simple is usually the option of choice and I'll take a simple solution from someone in short order if all things fit. On the other side of the coin, complexity is sometimes required as a means of ferreting out potential pitfalls that won't come up in a simple solution.

As you might be able to tell from my answer, I am a "complex thinker" while my best friend is a simple thinker. We work very well together.

Simple mindedness is better, I'm convinced.

I'm one of those complex minded people that can never stop thinking about everything and anything. It drives me crazy, and I'm chronically depressed.

I think it is easier to be happy if you are simple. The more complex you make life, the more you are always over thinking the easy things.

I'm the same way, except for the chronically depressed part... I think.

I'm the same way, and it drive me nuts. Why can't I turn my brain off (without putting bullet through my skull).

Just watch the episode of The Simpsons that deals with this issue. It will answer all your questions.

The one where Homer has a crayon in his brain, no I dont know the name or season of the episode.
