Through headphones or in the open?
In the open, it's risky. I wouldn't do it. Too many crybabies and lawsuitmonkeys laying around.

Don't know if you would get in trouble, but you might annoy some people.

Personally when Stern starts moaning and going "ohhh that is so hot" I want to punch something.

To your original question "can someone claim harrassment?"

Yes, they could, saying it's a hostile work environment.

Not appropriate for work unless everybody agrees they want to hear it and it's a close knit group. Otherwise you're opening yourself up for trouble if somebody cries they are offended.

hehe. I have to watch the volume on my radio and turn it off when I leave my desk. I listen to Walton and Johnson and they frequently play songs like "Prison Bitch," "Tired of the Gay Life," and "Titties and Beer."

The other day, one of the guys said "Listen, homosexual, you are gonna burn in hell." I was laughing, but I know there are some people around my office that would be offended. If you never heard them, Walton talks and Johnson does 3 voices (redneck - Billy Ed, black guy - Mr. Eaux, gay guy - Mr. Kenneth) throughout the show.

I listen to it at work all the time and no one cares. I have my own office, though and outside of my office no one can hear it.

When I worked in the cubicle world people around me would listen to the worst stations. Gospel, preaching stations and Stern (opie and anthony). I would shut my office door sometimes when the praise lord jesus stuff got to annoying.

One lady listened to some hard core rap station, that always drove me crazy too.

If you have to ask, you probably work with a crew operating fork lifts, so the asnwer is no, it's not bad.

out loud = no no, thats noise pollution
headphones= well it still doesn't reflect well on you if someone finds out. trash radio, whether its limbaugh or stern, should be left outside the office. its like having tabloids or pr0n on your desk.
