Is it bad to give a cat ice cream? Depends on which end of the cat you give it to.

I would never even think about giving one of our dogs anything but Purina One or Beneful. However, I have thought about giving our cats "Silk" (soy milk). Silk contains no dairy products, is organic, and lactose-free. Hrmm? Probably not a good idea. Interesting nonetheless.

Never give cats any dairy products, unless you enjoy cleaning up explosive diarrhea. Our kitties love ice cream, but the most they get is a good spoon lick.

HOLY CRAP! THIS I GOTTA SEE!

:Runs off to feed cat some milk:

No need for that, just ask me ;):p

For a dog to get sick eating chocolate, it would have to eat, on a weight ratio, the same amount as it would take to make a human sick. But it's worth remembering that one little bit of chocolate for a small dog is equal a big ol' bar for a human, so it's best to just not give it to them.
On a more thread-related note, I give my cat a taste of ice cream or let him lick the bowl everytime I eat it and he doesn't get sick or get weird poops or anything.
