Is it bad to call and confirm an interview appt the day before?

I've had 2 interviews with a rather large company and have the 3rd and final one on Tuesday.

When the guy interviewing me on Tuesday called me and asked to setup a time, I was on a greyhound bus and couldn't hear him well on my cell phone. I'm 99% sure he gave me Tuesday at 11 but I want to make sure, stupid maybe, but whatever.

Is it bad to call him on Monday (hopefully I get his secretary if he has one) and say I'd like to confirm we're still on for tomorrow?

If I was the interviewer I would take that as a professional trait. It shows me that you actually give a sh*t about showing up on time and haven't forgot about our appt.

Ok thanks guys.

This is my first big job, they're offering me a lot of money (not concrete yet) for a Graphic Design position that is pretty high level coming out of school. So far there's been interviews as I said, the last one was 4 hours long and really fun, so I'm looking forward to this one.

Wish me luck!

Yeah the first one was super informal and 2 and a half hours just over beers. Who knows how long this last one is going to take.

I don't think it's uncommon if they are flying you in from another area...

My interview lasted 30 mins and I got the job as an engineer for the DOT. I can't imagine being grilled for 8 hours...
