Is it appropriate to wear THIS to job interview?

Of course I'll be in full sports coat, shirt and tie underneath. Is tan too much? The jacket is rather very sleek looking but I don't know if it's appropriate.

You're not going to actually wear the coat during the interview, and it looks fine in the pic you posted. It's not quite as slick as some of the more business-like overcoats you'll see, but looks infinitely better than a columbia coat and those lame black wool coats that only go to the waist. I'm so sick of seeing those things. They scream out "brainless drone" to me.

I assume you don't want to just go in the suit and tie because of inclement weather??
