Is It Always So Slow?

I just called ZipZoomFly about an order that I placed on 11-2-06 and which my bank paid on 11-08-06, and they said that it was to be shipped tomorrow...that's 9 days after they were paid. This is only the second item that I have purchased online before, and the last time was much faster. I'm wondering if this is typical, or if ZZF is just slow?

I've always found them slower than Newegg but not by that much.

Many people have gotten fast shipping from ZZF, but they seem less consistent than Newegg.

I do 95% of my purchases from NewEgg. I have bought from ZZF probably a dozen times and they have been flawless.

Obviously, you must have paid with a credit card. I expect that paying by check to be slower, but there is no reason to wait 9 days after they have been paid.

I would have bought from Newegg, but they didn't have the model of processor that I wanted, and the lesser model that they did have was higher priced.

It was supposed to be shipped today, but I just checked the status again, and it only shows that it has been packed...not shipped. This will probably be the first and last time I use ZZF.
