I used to drink water while working out, while running on the treadmill that is. I noticed it kept my BP down, so in an effort to try and work my heart a bit harder I decided to stop drinking water whi;e I run. It's mad eit tough for me to progress past the 40 minute mark when it comes to runs, and I was wondering if it's a good idea (if you're trying to increase cardiovascular fitness) to drink a lot of water while running.
