It seems really low like $9, so I am thinking about it. Of course, it will bounce back. Did you read the WIRED magazine issue of NVIDIA being the next Intel. So do you think it is a good idea? If I do, I would hang onto it for a few years probably.

NVIDIA released lower than expected earnings. Their NV30 is going to be ready by at the earliest december (which means more market share for ATI). NVIDIA is partners with AMD and AMD had lower earnings this past quarter. Personally I don't see anything that would make the stock climb or fall in the near future. In the end it's up to you. Personally, I make stock purchasing decisions based on what I know about the company, not what others tell me. I suggest you do the same thing.

LOL, posting on Anandtech and he hears about R300 from a guy on CNET who probably got his information from the AT review.

AFA nVidia stock, dude, any tech stock is a gamble right now. fundamentals are in the sh!tter. nasdaq is gonna be a casino for the next 10 years until people have some confidence in techs again.

Now, I do believe that some lucky people will find a "bottom" but it will be luck not skill.

After that point, I believe that certain semi's will prosper well. Intel, Broadcom, nVidia... these all have huge engineering talent and execute well in their segments. Companies like this will recover well, but when? If I knew I would be rich already.

I wouldn't buy NVDA, but AMD is an absolute steal right now.

I would hold off, put your money in something with less risk. Hopefully it's hit bottom, but who knows, it could get worse. Then again, don't listen to me, I've made horrible stock decisions. Currently 15k in the red :)

Just buy some options on highly volatile stocks and you'll make more than you ever will with Nvidia*.

Geez, some people never learn!

It seems that a lot of people who lost money by buying overpriced stocks at the top of the technology stock price bubble are now "investing in" overpriced homes at the top of this real estate price bubble. It certainly didn't work last time, so why do people think that it's going to work now?

What part of "Buy low, sell high" doesn't people understand?!?

By the way, I wouldn't be buying any Nvidia right now. It's still a solid technology company with good earnings, but it will probably be a few months before it starts to rebound. Hold onto it, but don't buy any more.
