Is it a good idea to do a Custom water loop for GPU only without CPU? I am new at custom water loop systems not sure if its a good idea or not.
Appreciate any feedback.

Thank you

I wouldn't say it's not a good idea to only WC your GPU, but it's even a better idea to do both.
There's so much fixed cost involved with getting pump/res, radiators, all the tubing and fittings, etc, that you might as well spend a little more and add a CPU block at that point.
No problems with just doing the GPU though.

hmmm..... i dont see why you wouldn't want to do the CPU as well if your going to do the GPU.
Unless your trying to go small on the radiator.

But at this point id say its probably more beneficial to water-cool the GPU more then the CPU, especially how boosting works on GPU, and the fact you got a bare naked die vs a thick IHS to pull heat from.

Not to mention a GPU waterblock is going to be lighter and give you less chances of GPU sag and PCB damage then having a 1.5kg heatsink sitting on top of your 1000 dollar+ gpu.
