Is Israel an Arab country?
Population of Israel: 6.78 Million
Arab Population: 1.28 Million (19%)

in the 1940s the Arab world had around 700,000-800,000 Jews living there (not counting Iran). Now those communities are virtually gone. The majority of them fled to Israel, but they do not call themselves Arab. They are regarded as Jews.

The Jews might be the majority, but a large portion of that Jewish population has roots to the Arab world. Add the already large minority Arab population and you will probably see at least 50% having roots to the Arab world.

Ofcourse it is an arab country, Jews are arabs, most europeans aren't arab, that's ofcourse changing now with immigration, where the races are getting more mixed up. Not that it matters, they are arab, who cares?

The majority of citizens in Israel are from Russia and then Morocco (500,000).

Well, they do not classify themselves as Arab. Although they might have the same blood as Arabs and the majority might look the same, they do not classify themselves as Arabs. They are Jews and nothing else.

Regardless of what they want to call themselves, why is Israel not part of the Arab League?

Just as the Palistinians want to be called Palistinians and not Arabs and have their own land and Country like Israel.

The solution to the mess is to invade the rest of the Countries over there.

Re-name the whole region United Middle East States with Jurusalem as the Capitol.

Problem solved

Because muslims hate jews, well, at least it says they're supposed to in the quran. While christians are just misled, it says they are supposed to kill jews. No wonder they don't like jews. Christians are supposed to dislike them aswell, but i think we got past that.

hmm last I remember jews and muslims fought side by side against christians.
I think the jews picked up some nasty ideas from being around the christians
There has to be a way to share the land for everyone but it seems jews are not having it.
I would like to see the whole damn place walled off except for worshipers until people can learn to live together again.
I think the jews had a bad time of it a few generations ago and
like a child raised with abuse are passing it down
I guess noone taught these people to share. *shrugs*
(before the pro-israelis in here flame me I think both sides are whack and will NOT take sides)

In general, while many of the Jews are living in what are now classified as "Arab" countries, there a detectable genetic differences between most of them and Arabs. They also generally spoke a language other than Arabic as their primary one, and in fact a large porportion never spoke Arabic at all. Most of these Jews would be classified as Sephardic if you're looking for a specific designation. You also want to be careful about who you classify as "Arab" as not only do you have Morrocan and other North African Jews, but also Jews from Turkey who would generally not be considered as coming from a country of Arab ethnicity.

Caucasian is meaningless. If you go by pure genetics; Europeans, Turks, Western Russians, Iranians and North Indians would be 'Caucasian'.

Linguistically, both arabic and hebrew are semetic languages. Most of the world follows a faith from the Middle East of one flavour or another.

no they aren't. one judges "arabs", like children, an inferior race by lower standards. its just how it is apparently. imagine if a european state indoctrinated its people with viscious hatred generation after generation:p

This question is like " Are apples fruit ? "

People from israel are calling themselves "jew" when there's no such ethnic race as " jew"
They can't admitt that they're full of arabic mixture just because arabs contain large number of muslims.
There are also christian arabs in middle east, so they are not arab ? That's a stupid condition which they're trying to demonstrate themselves different.
People from israel ofcourse ethnically full of arabs because " jew " is not an ethnic race but a religion.
" One's religion does not specify its ethnic race."

Could you have bumped a dumber thread?

It's interesting only for the fact that McOwned actually was able to contribute something of semi-substance rather than something of substance-abuse. Possibly he hadn't quite cracked up yet.
