True dat! ;)
There should be a support group for spouses of Blackberry addicts! :D

I had a blackberry for 5 months at first it was kinda cool but in hindsight it was the worst 5 months of my life.

But why would you want it without the data plan?

Sweet, it's -$75 after rebate for T-Mobile at Amazon.
Now how do I sign up @ Amazon and get my number ported over as well?

It looks cool, and I like the size/weight of the phone.
I already have a Blackberry 6290 w/data (but no voice) from work so it's pointless to get 2 data plans, no?
And I barely use the data plan on that, other than for corporate email.

I also post in the CPU/OC forum and find it's easier than listing it any time someone asks what I've got on my E6300. It's more useful than saying "yeah I got an intel and some DDR2" because the people who are interested in those stats will want to know what I'm talking about. I don't claim to have the best PC or highest overclock or most xtreme rad-badical "uber rig". Notice how I don't post about my mobile phone, laptop, TFT, TV, HiFi?

That's what rig sig links are for, instead of cluttering up your post with a sig longer then your post.

Order the phone and when it arrives call up the number in the box for the carrier you are porting to (it will be on a piece of paper with each carrier) and port your old number. It's pretty painless, actually.

I have a pearl without a data plan, and I've found that even without the data plan the PIM functions are still very useful, and it is a decent phone. If you can get it for a better price than a standalone phone it may well be worth it for you, but if it's more expensive then you should consider how much you want to have it.

Your computer's stats are in your signature. Not only that, you mention the model of the RAM. That is depressing.

I believe that's check and mate

Yes, but mine has 2 witty sayings and 3 links. You just have useless computer stats information. :)

That plan probably requires you to get a data plan for at least 6 months

Try adding it to your cart and checking out. You cannot proceed without checking a radio button for a Blackberry plan, the cheapest of which costs $29.99/month.

Yup, and for T-Mobile the cheapest data plan is $19.99 per month.
I don't see a 6 month minimum though... didn't look too hard since I don't want data period.
