hi

I have downloaded the SP2 to 90% now but I start to have 2nd thoughts about it. I am not sure if it is a good idea installing it. Any advice from peoaple that have it will be appreciated. I don;t know how much I am ready to have an integrated firewall. I use Sygate and so I am more than satisfied?

Advice please!

SP2 is more than just the extra features.. install it for all the security fixes. I have zero problems with SP2 and I'm sure that's the case with most people!

How can it be too high security? Do you like worms, virus' and people hacking into your PC? SP2 is a must, IMO.

No reason not to unless you have a specific program that doesnt work with it. Don't forget to turn off the annoying security center though.

You could order SP2 on CD from Microsoft for future installs.

Microsoft will send it to you for free.

I'd say go for it. There are programs that don't work with SP2, but those aren't so many, and they might have some updates. I'd say go with it

If you've been running your windows installation a long time without reformating there's a good chance you'll have some problems. You could always try it and see, and uninstall it if you don't like it, or format the drive and install sp2 right after installing windows. Thing is, by now all the hax0rs no about all the flaws that sp2 fixes so you're better off having it installed
