then you must be pressing the "delete all" button instead of the off button.

flash memory isnt like the stuff you have in your computer. its just like how your bios doesnt reset everytime you start up.

It's actually neither. Apple has found a way to shrink people...really smart people to nano size and stuffed them in there and they remember all the 0's and 1's.
