Is internet porn addictive?

actually i think ive read articles about this saying that it is addictive, its like a drug.

the way i see it, is like this, you look at the porn, you get some sort of "imaginative" satisfaction. since it pleases you, you will more than likely come back for more.

Hmm. I should pass out some of my URLs. You guys just might buy a membership to a pay site so I get the referral money 😉

Addictive & destructive both.

When I was 14 I was turned loose on a college campus for 10+ hours a day. I got a job in the A/V department, so I had access to a locked room with two fast (at the time) computers & internet access on a T1 I'd never been exposed (no pun intended) to porn before, & spent HOURS exploring the world of free porn.

Once the curiosity wore off, though, I quit. And I feel lucky that I did. I suspect that if I'd had the same situation & opportunity at 16 or 17, I wouldn't have been able to quit. As it is, I managed to escape relatively unscathed. I'm forever grateful for that, for my own sake & the sake of my future wife.

Internet porn is not addictive , because I was able to "quit" after few years 🙂 ... (I got cable, and found out how to crack my dad's key, for a few "good" channels 😉)

I have to say, that is awesome. Shows very good judgement on your part.

I refuse to pass judgement on anyone who does use it because I am just as capable of making mistakes as anyone else is.

I will say that in my studies, I have learned that pr0n is indeed bad for all the people involved... the users and the usees. That's why, even with my magnificent body, I wouldn't get in the industry. 😉 😀

I will also say that my husband uses it when he is A) under extreme duress and feels the need for that particular brand of unreality. It used to bother me because he can be self-righteous about other things, but now I just see it as kind of a sad and pathetic thing.

I suppose it has it's place... it's all the action some people ever get... but in general, it is unhealthy.

Sorry.

Addictive - yes.
Destructive? Not necessarily. As long as you can have a healthy sex life along with or after looking at internet porn, i wouldn't consider it harmful.

As for Napalm381, porno king here, he is all proud for having the most images shared on the network at school here 😉

IMHO, all porn is addictive. Internet porn moreso simply because it's easier to find different porn, and it's quicker and easier to get then actually buying porn.

Pretender...

Plus, the people who would normally be to embarassed to walk into an adult bookstore can get anything they want from the comfort & anonymity of their own bedroom.

I didn't think so either, until I studied nude dancers and porn stars in a sociology class.

deeeeeeepresssssssing!

Most of them are really sad. Not all, but most. Don't think I haven't considered explioting my own assets... I have. Considered it, that is! 😉 But after the things I've seen.... nah.

The best thing of all is to have a rockin' sex life with someone you really, really love. Nothing can replace that.

Anybody watch Boogie Nights?

Great flick!!!!
