Well I have a 2005 G35 Coupe.
Let me put it in easy to understand terms.
A Toyota is a lower cost Lexus
An Infiniti is a higher priced Nissan
While I love the styling and it's get up and go the interior falls short of what I expect from a 38K car. From the horrid steering wheel mounted controls, which have sharp edges on their backside and don't aline with the cross bar of the wheel, to way to much cabin giggles and such I wonder what they were thinking. I have all sorts of rattles and such the dealer isn't capable or won't fix.
I looked at the FX but the interior (mostly dash) is horrible.
They have some good performance numbers but the new IS350 from Lexus is not matching those numbers it has the fit and finish and attention to detail a car in this price range should have.
Point, my next car will not be an Infiniti. I may not even keep this one two years. Throw in the abusive charges for maintenance the dealer tries to foist on me and I can't see the point ($377 for the 15K service? - 2/3rds of the items are not even in the warranty manual!)
