This is the most ignorant thread I've ever heard of, look at England or France a couple of hundred years ago.. bag then pedophilia was perfectly normal too and racism was much more rare..

In many ways they are alot more socially accepting than we are today, but they are also alot more socially inept.

There are also over 500+ species of animals that engage in some sort homosexual activities (no joke).

The KuKuKu in New Guinea (a very isolated area for those who do not know) have a practice where the younger boys give older boys oral sex to ingest their semen, or their essense of masculinity, so they too may become men.

Among many tribes in New Guninea homosexuality is not looked down upon whatsoever.

Had Leonardo da Vinci *not* been gay, the Sistene Chapel would have been wallpapered.

Hate to break this to you but Michaelangelo painted the sistene chapel...doh
bahahh

I initially thought it was Michaelangelo... but I second guessed myself and looked it up.... I guess that's what I deserve for trusting the first link that google returned, instead of myself 😛

Oh well. Still applies.

Oh well. Same principle applies.

I'm feeling lucky

Our query may not have been the same, lol, idunno. It was a geocities page.

I figured that $random > me. So I believed the page.

Turns out I was right. $random > me.

Maybe you should have googled this instead of letting everyone here know how little you know about history?

Googling "homosexuality" could be dangerous no?

Googlish

First site that pops up is a religious site, so I guess you are right. 😉

Yeah because the average French or British citizen of "hundreds of years ago" (whatever the hell that means...big difference between 1500 and 1800...) either
A) Knew people of other races only as slaves, which were viewed as property (which is still pretty damn racist)
or
B) Never in their life saw a person that wasn't the same ethnicity as them...this becomes more and more common the closer you get to the Dark Ages...

True, but had Leonardo Da Vinci *not* been somewhat queer, Mona Lisa would have had a toothy grin. So there. 🙂

What about michael jackson?? 😀

I thought he was a white middle-aged woman. So him molesting teen boys is a heterosexual act, right? also, you can make a distinction between homosexuality and pedophilia/ child abuse.
