Those examples you list have the potential to harm others, the sale of food items are regulated for many valid reasons. If you don't believe me, go read Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle Book", which helped spur food regulation at the federal level here in the US.

Because the first effects EVERYBODY. Young, old, white, black, poo packer (as you like to call them) or straight. These people have a right to purchase and consume healthy food.
