you know what's crazy? Homebrewerdude frowns on drinking at the office! That's a disgrace!

I don't think it's really up to him. I think it's more of a general policy ;)
How would they know if he mixed something into his "coke" to drink with at lunch? ;)

Well they'd surely notice his slurred speech and inability to get work done and heavy AT usage during... hey... you're right!

And for the record, we just hired someone to help Yoyoyo and technically he could have that person do the scanning.

pffft that's nothing. my old job decided to go paperless back when it was considered trendy and the way of modern business. 16 years worth of client, PR, personnel, and god knows what other types of data. it took 3 months and we rented a high end scanner, bought some good OCR, and had it in a database so you could search by any field on any paper. almost 2 million sheets not counting double sided. I had nightmares about papercuts and trees seeking revenge for weeks

Yeah, not bad at all. This was just a parody of Aquaman's thread.

Topic Title: Is it crazy to scan 700 magazines?
Topic Summary:

I have collected over 15 years of Aquarium magazines but they are taking a lot of room up in my den. I don't have the heart to just throw them away (I will probably give them to a local library) but I am still in the hobby and I still enjoy reading them and using them as a resource.

Do you think it's crazy to scan 600+ mags? I won't be scanning every page but all pages with articles on them so for example a 70 page mag will have 45-50 pages that have articles or pictures on them.

I guess I will find out how tough my Canon Scanner is :)

Cheers,
Aquaman :D
