Because the predictive power of these head to head matchup polls at this time are near zero, regardless of who they are about. For example, right around this time last election cycle some polls showed Rick Santorum of all people beating Obama. Do you think that was accurate?

Sanders has been subject to virtually no attacks by Republicans and he is not viewed as the plausible nominee so his numbers are less affected by partisanship.

So yeah, the facts say Sanders is more electable than Hillary the same way the facts said Santorum was more electable than Obama. With that in mind, now what do you think the facts say?

Indeed, and some polls also showed Romney ahead of Obama. In fact, Romney seemed to surge a bit in the April-May time period.

It's also worth mentioning that the polls on average over-estimated Romney's position. Toward the end, they showed Obama winning but by a narrower margin than what actually occurred. The ones that looked like pro-Obama outliers turned out to be accurate. Which was hilarious, since conservatives wouldn't stop complaining about how the polls were biased in Obama's favor.

Notably, this entire thread is based on one single poll taken in February of an election year. It's absurd that anyone would draw any conclusions from that, but then this is P&N.

You don't seem to get it. Hillary said that she never told the families that they would “arrest and prosecute” the man that made the video critical of Islam which caused the attack. Three of the victim's families say she did. Somebody's lying.

http://www.conwaydailysun.com/newsx...talks-iraq-and-benghazi-with-the-sun-ed-board

You don't seem to get it, the information at the time was fluid and it wasn't put out by the intelligence community what exactly caused the attacks till later. However before that there was a lot of speculation and claims being thrown around. Luckily for you we've had multiple investigations into the matter, all of which produced nothing in terms of conspiracy to lie to the American people.

So yeah someone is lying, I myself don't tend to trust those that go to TV personalities, that have a history of lying to their audience, to tell their stories.

Whenever I hear about Benghazi I dont think about Hillary Clinton at all.

I think wow, those 6-7 dudes fought 160 dudes to the death and killed most of them.

They are ultimate bad-asses. I mean 7 US special forces/CIA operatives = 150 - 160 terrorists. Ultimate respect to those guys forever.

And Hillary should never hold another political office imo, and that has nothing to do with Benghazi. I just think she is slimy in general.

I'm curious, what slimy things has Hillary done in your book to warrant being called slimy? Are there specific acts or is it just the impression you get?

It just seems like she is willing to do whatever and say whatever to be president. Perhaps "slimy" isnt the right word. She thinks she should be president sooo freakin bad. But just panders to everyone, and backs the banks.
There is like a list of things that I cant really think of at the moment hmm lets see..

The email thing shows carelessness and ignorance.
Seems like she got elected In new york and cuz her last name was clinton and everyone assumed she would be like bill.
Obama appointed her to Sec. of State because she made a deal with him to pull out of the primary in the first election. imo, I dont have proof.
Seems like she schemes her way to the top.
Ive never heard her say anything intelligent that I dont think someone else told her to say.
When you ask her an opinion on a subject she waits days to answer to make sure its the most popular position.
She's easily flustered, not very presidential imo.
She acts like ITS HER TURN to be president.

I get a bad vibe. I dunno. I feel like she is the candidate of the status quo.
Not evil or anything I just feel like she is a puppet of the highest bidder.
Disingenuous?

...so yeah just the impression i get lol.

And I feel like Bernie is like a granpa.
He makes sense with what he says and isnt afraid to say wacky stuff if thats what he thinks. His positions dont change over long periods of time. He seems very rational and like he wants to change things. His crazy hair tells me he doesnt care what people think. And isnt going to just try to please everyone to win. He will do what he thinks is right.

Which, is kinda why I at least respect that Trump does that too. I mean the guy is insane and Id never vote for him, it would be a tragedy if he got elected president. But you gotta respect the balls.

Hillary just is like PULLEASEE LIKE ME!!! PLEEEEZEEE!!! WAnna be president SOOO bad....!!!

GOP hasn't attacked Bernie yet. He is at his ceiling. Hillary has been attacked since 1992, she's at her floor.

Also, I would prefer if Elizabeth Warren were the first female president. She seems super smart and humble and genuine. I hope Bernie makes her his vice pres. if she will accept.

I MIGHT even vote for Hillary if she made Elizabeth Warren her vice.

Its a very presidential name too. Sounds strong lol.

Disclaimer on all my opinions: You dont know me, Im possibly insane. Dont take what I say too seriously. ;)

This is really going to hurt Obama's chances at a third term. :hmm:
I don't think he would win the third term. He is no Bill Clinton :)

But this brings a serious question.

There is no term limit for legislature. We have life time senator and congressmen. There is no term limit to judiciary. We have lifetime judges. Why is there a term limit to executive branch only?

Wouldn't we be in much better condition today if only GWB was still ruling this country?

n-no? lol D:

Also I think they call that a monarchy ;)

A better solution would be to also limit the terms of the legislature and supreme court.

Take one guess. Republicans. And it was done for purely political reasons.

why assume that she even wants either job in the first place?

she chose not to run for President this year when she'd probably be doing even better than Sanders if she had.

More "So What?" Conversational misunderstandings & mis-statements occur all the time. That's why there are contracts.

Is this supposed to be some big deal? Really?

Let me explain how this works. Begin from well-conditioned irrational Hillary hate. Invoke every chickenshit gotcha attack you can find. Reinforce the irrationality to reinforce the belief. It's how you come up with attitudes like Poker Guy's when he describes Hillary as "slimy". When asked for his reasons, he just doubles down on slimy.

When people don't know why they feel the way they do they'll say they don't know or they'll believe that they do know even if it's just the result of being propagandized.

So, uhh, what's in your head & how did it get there? Why do you believe it?

We all need to ask ourselves that kind of questions.

ah, the classic stages of grief... Righties and Bernie Bros are at:

Bargaining: This stage may involve persistent thoughts about what could have been done to prevent the loss. People can become preoccupied about ways that things could have been better. If this stage is not properly resolved, intense feelings of remorse or guilt may interfere with the healing process.

You're the one posting it as if you're finding something new about nearly every politician in the world.
